Cinderella Dress Day 2019
Prom Dreams Come True!
On Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, over 400 female students representing 92 schools in grades 7-12 came to shop for a free, high-quality prom dress, once they attended the FWMSA’s community health fair.
150 volunteers, educators and community organizations
worked toward empowering our Fort Wayne female students, and their families and friends who joined them, through 14 wellness booths and presentations from 7 health speakers at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
3000+ prom items including dresses, shoes, jewelry and support-wear were available to any young lady that walked through our doors and wished to understand healthier lifestyle parameters. In addition, on-site tailoring, hair and make-up tutorials, and prom prizes valued over $1200 helped make for an even more magical experience.
With the help of our sponsors and many volunteers, we not only host this one special day, but are also enabled to donate 100's of items throughout the year to other not-for-profit centers in our community.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers and community supporters for making this event and greater outreach to Fort Wayne families possible!
To donate dresses now or throughout the year,
visit any Peerless Cleaners location for convenient drop-off.
Thank you for your support!
