CINDERELLA DRESS DAY

The Cinderella Dress Day Committee works all year-long to collect dresses, secure sponsorships, and organize volunteers for the seamless execution of that one special day in the Spring that we call, Cinderella Dress Day.  This event not only provides dresses for underprivileged young ladies, but works to provide a health education component, as well.  More importantly, we hope to give these young ladies a day to remember, and the message that they are special too.

DOCTOR'S DAY

The Doctor's Day Committee begins planning for the next year's event as soon as the current one has ended.  Hosted at Science Central, this free event is the longest-running health fair in our area that also serves to help educate kids on medical careers.  Working with our sponsors, securing booth participants, and enlisting the help of Alliance and community volunteers to create a fun and educational event for the whole family, keeps this committee busy!

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON/FUNDRAISING
This party planning committee has a jolly time planning and executing our annual Holiday Luncheon and Bazaar.  As well as, serving as our primary fundraiser each year, it is also a much anticipated social event!  In addition to lunch, members and guests have the opportunity to shop with local vendors,
who generously donate a portion of their sales to the Alliance.
With giveaways, games and surprises, the day has something for everyone!

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is the building block of any organization. The Membership Committee is designed to welcome new physician spouses to the Fort Wayne community. Our goal is to reach out to new members through the I.U. Medical School, the Family Medicine Residency, and the Fort Wayne Medical Society. Our mission is to create a strong membership foundation that allows us to support and encourage each other while having a positive impact on the community.
Our Membership Committee represents a strong cross-section of our general membership. They understand the need for networking among physician-families, reaching out to renew former members, and recruiting new members to our organization.
