The Alliance is pleased to host two community service events each year, Doctor's Day and Cinderella Dress Day. We continue to offer social events for members to get to know each other and offer other physician families support and the expertise of their experience.
Fall Membership Social
Always a fun social event that kicks off our calendar year, this is a great opportunity to meet new Alliance members and hear about the work we do to support our community, upcoming projects and ways to get involved.
Annual Holiday Luncheon & Bazaar
This has become one of our most highly-anticipated social and fundraising events of the year for Alliance members, friends and family! Guests are treated to lunch and an exclusive shopping experience at our Bazaar of local merchants, who kindly donate 10% of their sales back to the Alliance.
Doctor's Day
This is the day when the Alliance endeavors to educate children in the science of medicine, by providing them the opportunity to visit with doctors, nurses, dietitians, and other health care professionals to learn about careers in medicine. In addition, this event makes available important general health information to children and their families.
Cinderella Dress Day
This event, in its 20th year, is free to any young woman in the Fort Wayne community. We provide a variety of health related topics from educators such as Lutheran Health Network, Parkview Health, and the McMillen Center for Health Education, as well as information about medical careers to all attendees. And of course, we provide FREE prom dresses and accessories to each and every young woman who joins us.
